Yesterday, we reported that BigRedButton’s Bob Rafei was teasing two new Sonic Boom characters – one of which we believed to be Shadow the Hedgehog, based on information we received earlier this year.
Today, confirmation: Shadow the Hedgehog is making an appearance in Sonic Boom, and he’s bringing Metal Sonic along for the ride.
For the occasion, Sega even put out a special Gamescom trailer for Rise of Lyric, showing bosses, NPCs, and more:
Blink and you might even miss catching a glimpse of Metal Sonic.
Speaking of Gamescom, according to Nintendo Life, a UK release date has been set for Sonic Boom: November 21st, a little over a week after it launches in North America.
