Most Successful Community Fundraiser Ever–With Several Days Still Left
Some months back, we told you about plans to organize a weeks-long streaming marathon of Sonic games. Now, the Sonic-a-Thon, organized by Hellfire Comms, is paying off to charity in spades.
As of this article’s publication, More than $15,600 has been raised for Child’s Play, the charity that benefits sick children in hospitals. A wide variety of titles has been played and streamed for the public to see, with several big community names and donation incentives keeping the goodwill flowing.
The schedule of playthroughs currently runs through August 20th, but there is no set end date just yet, meaning you have plenty of time to be part of the good cause.
